Terms of Service
Approved for the initial no-payment launch. Effective date: October 3, 2026. Purchases are not available.
CodedVideo is operated by an independent developer based in Hong Kong under the CodedVideo brand. Contact support@codedvideo.com about the service or these terms.
CodedVideo is a self-service product-video tool. You provide product information and assets that you are authorized to use, review an editable storyboard, and may request optional AI footage and an MP4 export. The initial public service is offered without payment. Access, project allowances, model availability and processing capacity may be limited by the product interface and active launch settings; free access is not unlimited generation.
OpenRouter is used for structured storyboard planning with the configured text model. Replicate may be used for optional AI footage. AWS Rekognition checks cleaned images and sampled video frames for content safety. Remotion running in controlled AWS Lambda infrastructure renders the final composition. These providers perform separate jobs; CodedVideo does not describe a Replicate or Remotion result as an Opus 5.5 native video.
You must provide an email address you control and must have the rights and permissions needed to upload logos, screenshots, copy, fonts and other materials. Do not upload passwords, access keys, private credentials, highly sensitive personal information, or another person's material without permission. Do not attempt to access another account, project, asset, provider credential or private download.
The project interface shows the allowance used for planning, optional footage and export actions. A technical failure that produces no usable result releases the corresponding reserved allowance when the service can confirm that outcome. A successful result that you later choose not to use remains a successful action. Editing and repeat downloads do not create a new generation allowance. We do not automatically repeat a paid provider action to seek a preferred result.
Generated copy and media require your review. We do not guarantee factual accuracy, legal clearance, exclusivity, uninterrupted availability, a particular search ranking, or a commercial result. Check claims, permissions, accessibility, format and final quality before publishing or distributing a video.
You permit us and the service providers described in the Privacy Policy to process your submitted materials for the actions you request and the safety and security checks needed to provide the service. This is not permission to publish your project as an example. Subject to your rights in the materials and applicable asset and model terms, you may use exported videos for product promotion. This does not transfer CodedVideo's reusable templates or application source code.
Projects are private by default. A project is not added to CodedVideo examples merely because it is created or exported. Subject to the deletion flow, successful exports and the assets they depend on are retained until at least the later of Project Pass expiry plus 7 days and the most recent successful export plus 30 days. The project interface shows the applicable deadline.
You may request project deletion through the available account flow or by contacting support@codedvideo.com. Deletion revokes project access, cancels eligible work and removes associated D1 metadata and private R2 objects through the lifecycle process. An active job, backup, security record or legally required record may require separate handling.
Text is checked by SEEAPI and images by AWS Rekognition. Optional footage is checked using sampled frames. A safety result of unknown, a provider failure or an unavailable check pauses delivery; it is never treated as approval. We may reject, pause or suspend processing that violates the Acceptable Use Policy, provider restrictions, or a required safety check.
We may improve the service and change non-material implementation details. A material change to these terms will use a new effective date. Contact support@codedvideo.com for account, project, privacy or service questions.
